How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
‘Welcome, we’re so glad you’re here!’ Field Club of Omaha has long prided itself on being approachable and friendly and this series of emails helps establish that relationship from the very beginning. When these emails hit our members’ inboxes, they begin to feel like they already know the team member on a certain level. From favorite travels to hometowns to kiddos and families, these are more than orientation, these are built to connect.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Different emails have been created for different membership types, interests and demographics explaining all areas of the club and how members can make the most of their membership. For these to build rapport it is important for them to feel like they were written just for the member. They are written conversationally and updated continuously for them to always be fresh.
One additional benefit from these, that was a bit unforeseen when they began, is that when we tell members about us they are a lot more likely to share additional information with our team. This info comes to us both in their member bios they submit and also conversationally with the team at the club. The more we know the better we can develop relationships and deliver on the member experience.
