Field Club Gives Back
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
We wanted to create a meaningful way for our team to give back to the community while recognizing the scheduling challenges of the hospitality industry. To make participation realistic and inclusive, we launched Quarterly Staff Volunteer Days, offering one organized volunteer opportunity each season. By scheduling volunteer events on Mondays when our Food & Beverage operation is closed, we removed a major barrier to participation. Staff members are invited to sign up for any volunteer opportunities that fit their interests and availability, allowing flexibility while still fostering a shared sense of purpose.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
The program was promoted through multiple channels, including staff emails, flyers in employee areas, and a centralized sign-up sheet in the office. Clear communication and seasonal scheduling helped build strong awareness and engagement. The response from staff has been overwhelmingly positive, with team members appreciating both the flexibility and the opportunity to give back together. Club members have also expressed support and pride in seeing the club invest in community outreach through its employees, while some members even volunteered to join us!
