Idea Fair
Gingerbread Brunch
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
The Gingerbread House Workshop has become a favorite way to welcome the holiday season, bringing families together in a warm and festive setting. With more than two hundred houses built, the event created memorable moments for children, parents, and grandparents alike. Long-standing members especially appreciated the chance to enjoy the experience alongside their grandchildren without the mess, preparation, or trips to the store. Our Pastry Chef set the tone by creating a detailed gingerbread replica of the Clubhouse, which inspired children and adults and set the bar for creativity.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
To ensure that every child could participate comfortably, we offered nut-free and gluten-free tables, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and care. Families appreciated the thoughtful touches, the welcoming environment, and the ease of simply arriving and enjoying time together. The event showcased the Club at its best, not only through creativity and hospitality, but by creating moments that felt special, effortless, and truly connected to the spirit of community.
