Golf and Fitness Programming
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Our Fitness & Well-Being and Golf Committees have curated golf fitness-specific programs to help each player improve their overall game and health. Their goal is to continue developing classes and other golf fitness-specific programs such TPI Screening, Junior Golf Fitness Academy, golf specific Reformer Pilates, and wellness services consisting of Alignment Yoga for Golfers and Health & Life Coaching. As rounds of golf increased significantly, we believe this is a crucial time to offer these programs to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our golf members.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
The committees campaigning programming throughout the club has been a big factor of the initiative to connecting fitness and golf within our wellness program. While golf round increased throughout the year, so did the initiative for well being and staying healthy. Our golf and fitness programming has allowed members to increase their golf game while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The programming also increased the volume in our fitness center with more golf members purchasing personal training lessons.
