Golf Course Restoration Scorecard

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

In late 2016 the members of the Dedham Country and Polo Club decided to move forward with a full golf course restoration. The scope of the project included the following: 1.) Construction of a new irrigation pump house 2.) 2,500' underground electrical run 3.) 2,800' sewer connection 4.) installation of a state of the art irrigation system 5.) the reconstruction of 19 USGA specified greens, 6.) the reconstruction of 90 bunkers and finally 7.) the restoration of the original Seth Raynor course layout.

Our idea helped us communicate effectively with our membership on a hole by hole, project to project, on a weekly basis.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The Dedham Country and Polo Club team partnered with Turf Cloud Inc. to construct a construction scorecard that mimicked our golf score card. The reaction from our membership was over the top and we never experienced a situation where our members were clueless of what happening on their golf course.
