Haunted Walk

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

At Champions Run, we love to celebrate Halloween. In prior years, we convert our cart barn into a frightening haunted house for members and their guests to walk through. In light of the pandemic this year, we essentially did this same idea, except outdoors and socially distanced.

How was this idea implemented and what have been the club members' reactions?

Our creative team put their minds together to construct a haunted walk, that began at the top of the driving range, and went all the way down to a forested area at the bottom. Those who dared to walk through were given noise-cancelling headphones that played spooky music, that were returned and cleaned at the end of each walk. Groups of 7 or 8 people were guided along the path and were greeted by clowns with chain saws, ghosts, and more. Our members appreciated the change in this tradition so that everyone could participate in this scary walk, if they dared.
