High Performance Program

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

HRC Sports Performance Fitness Training is a Club-wide tennis-specific fitness program designed to complement High Performance Tennis. This also offers non-high performance tennis players the opportunity to improve their fitness and tennis-specific abilities. By implementing tennis-specific fitness training, we have been able to enhance Member involvement and satisfaction in fitness training due to the specificity of training for Members needs.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The High Performance Program was originally designed to be offered primarily to Club participants in the High Performance Tennis Program from ages twelve to eighteen. Today, we have expanded to include Members of all ages and performance levels who desire a fitness routine specific to tennis. This program has been well received, with plans for expansion to include additional work with tennis professionals, yearly performance combines, and an online training option to further build upon the success of the sports performance program.
