Improving Member Engagement Through Better Communication and Collaboration

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

We introduced two complementary ideas: improved communication through a dedicated Racquets Instagram page and increased cross-collaboration between Racquets and Fitness. Instagram has become a quick, visual, and effective way to promote programs, share reminders, and highlight events, leading to stronger engagement and improved sign-ups. At the same time, working closely with Fitness has allowed us to offer off-court training programs that support injury prevention, improve performance, and keep members healthy and active year-round. Together, these ideas have enhanced participation, improved communication, and expanded programming without requiring additional court time during peak seasons.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The Instagram page was launched as a simple communication tool, posting upcoming events with signup links, reminders, and post-event photos. The Racquets and Fitness teams collaborated to design indoor-season programs focused on strength, mobility, and preparation for outdoor leagues and tournaments. Member response has been very positive, engagement on Instagram continues to grow, sign-ups have increased, and members frequently comment that seeing photos and reminders helps them plan ahead. The fitness collaboration has been especially well received, with members appreciating having more options during the indoor season and feeling better prepared, healthier, and more confident heading into outdoor play.
