Idea Fair

Investing in Our Team: The CCV Scholarship Foundation

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The CCV Scholarship Foundation supports staff development by helping employees and their families pursue higher education and career growth. By offering financial assistance for tuition and books, the program provides a meaningful benefit that encourages long-term professional development and reinforces the Club’s commitment to its people. Extending eligibility to children and grandchildren broadens the impact and contributes to stronger morale, loyalty, and retention across the staff community.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The Scholarship Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a structured application and selection process reviewed by an independent committee. This year, three employees received $2,000 scholarships, with funds paid directly to their educational institutions.

Staff response has been overwhelmingly positive. Recipients were grateful for the support, and other employees—whether eligible or not—have expressed appreciation for the program as a meaningful investment in staff growth and well-being. While member-facing engagement is still developing, the Foundation has already become a valued part of the Club’s approach to staff development and retention.
