How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The Just Chillin’ concept was implemented to replace the old Snack Shack which sold a few select snack items mostly utilized by the younger membership, Dippin’ Dots being the most popular item. We added so much more with shakes and slushies among other grab-and-go dessert options, we began to see an explosion in usage by our member children.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Capitalizing on this momentum, we teamed up with our Youth Activities team for new programming such as our monthly birthday postcards sent to each child for a complimentary birthday treat. Just Chillin’ has now become a destination spot for our younger members who feel they own a piece of the Club. We have since seen a dramatic increase in overall Club usage and membership demand as the children motivate their parents to visit HRC, a place they too can call their own. Combined with easy access for TO-GO order usage, Just Chillin’ has been a SWEET SPOT for the Houston Racquet Club.
