Idea Fair
Kraken Assasin
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Kraken Assassin used a mobile game called Splashin to create a fun, interactive challenge that connected staff across every department. The app assigns each player a secret target and tracks eliminations, turning the game into a real-time competition that everyone can follow. Adding simple game mechanics like “goggles for immunity” kept things playful and strategic while encouraging staff to engage with each other throughout the day. The result was stronger relationships, fewer silos, and a more connected team across the club.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
Each participating staff member downloaded the Splashin app, which secretly gave them another player to eliminate by splashing them with water. Players could wear goggles for immunity, meaning they were safe from being eliminated until the goggles came off, which added humor, strategy, and constant suspense. Every elimination was logged in the app and automatically reassigned, keeping the game moving until one winner remained and claimed the $500 prize. Members loved watching the staff laugh, compete, and interact in ways that made the whole club feel more fun and energized.
