Live Stream Major Events - Maximum Participation

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Have you ever had weather, time of year, or other factors impact participation in your incredible events? At Desert Highlands, Bob Sykora, our Director of Fun, created the DH Broadcasting Station (DHBS), live-streaming events with multiple cameras and full commentary to spark excitement and keep members engaged and participating.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Members love this! During the Women’s Member-Guest, we experienced heavy rain, but thanks to the live stream, the Shootout in the Rain was broadcast on TVs throughout the Clubhouse. Men, women, and children all tuned in, stayed warm, and shared in the excitement together.  On top of that we had at one point over 700 people from throughout the country watching as well.

We’ve since broadcast other events with the same energy and enthusiasm, creating memorable experiences regardless of the conditions.
