Lunches for First Responders

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Our Essential Workers in our community were working overtime under some very stressful conditions in the year that was 2020! We arranged to deliver a hot lunch once a quarter as a way to say "thank you" to our local emergency first responders.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Two teams set out to deliver to 4 different firehouses each quarter in order to cover them all. Staying socially distant, the reaction of appreciation from the firefighters was captured by I-phone and shared with the membership in our newsletter who were indeed very proud of our club for the gesture!
