Idea Fair

Main Bar Cocktail Program

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Renovation of the main bar physical space brought members back but the beverage concept excited them for future. We elevated the program to mirror or exceed high end cocktail bars in Atlanta. Revenue increased greatly by $29,000 and 60% increase YOY in first two months of operation. The area has been revitalized to showcase the original entertainment space of the club and energize membership for the future. Members are proud to bring guests and family before events at the club or prior to dinner in the surrounding area.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Main bar renovation took 3 months, and the cocktail program was an integral part. Working to define moments is our club and cocktail variations that hit home from the 1950s to now. Reviewing historical moments in our club from founding to expansion of the country club to renovation of ballroom as impactful times. Then creating a cocktail timeline through the cocktail experience including The Charter Martini, Chattahooche Collins, Grant Manhattan, and Buckhead Breeze.

Overwhelming success with changing service format to include water and snack service as we do not offer food. Enhancing cocktail dress presentation for more elegance and refinement. Lastly, creating member focused offerings of allocated bourbons that they can enjoy outdoors by the firepit or inside in the comfort on the main bar.
