March Madness Bracket

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Our Fitness Department created a March Madness Bracket Challenge to allow employees from different areas (Fitness, Wellness, GroupX, Spa) to bond through a friendly competition.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Employees were invited to participate via email, with instructions on how to download and complete their bracket prior to the start of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament. Everyone enjoyed the friendly competition, and special prizes were awards at a final luncheon and awards ceremony for the top three brackets, the funniest bracket name, the most creative bracket, and the best Cinderella story. The idea allowed for communication, comradery, and friendly competition between different areas that otherwise don’t get much chance to interact.
