How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
Our new app is providing convenience for our members to invite a friend/colleague/family member to membership at Medinah by literally clicking a button, instead of having to take additional time to reach out to the Club for membership information, whether by the website, phone call or in-person. Our members’ can either text or email a “lighter version” of our app with detailed information about Medinah and our membership opportunities. This technology is available 24/7 and puts a prospective member directly in front of the Director of Membership Development’s inbox for follow up.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
This idea was a collaborative effort of the General Manager, Director of Communications, and Director of Membership along with Pacesetter Technology. While the app is still in the process of full implementation to the membership at large, the Board and Committee members had a positive reaction based on the ease, convenience and state-of-the-art application for members and prospective members.
