Member Talent Show

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

We hosted an event to showcase our members talents while raising money for our Art Endowment Corporation and our Employee Scholarship Fund. We created a new way for members to celebrate each other while enjoying a wonderful evening together. We look to make this an annual event to continue highlighting our talented membership.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Our President wanted to add a new club event for members to experience. Our director of catering, communications team and our executive clubhouse manager created the blueprint. We determined how members would submit and criteria to follow. Next the executive committee voted on the finalist to send to the talent show. We finished with 10 participants including singing, comedy, impersonations, flamenco dancing, and instrumentals. Members raved about inviting friends and family to join in supporting our members.
