Milestone Celebrations have enhanced the club’s operation by strengthening employee engagement, retention, and morale. By formally recognizing employees at key service milestones, the program reinforces that longevity and commitment are valued. Consistent, visible recognition from leadership has helped build trust, pride, and a stronger sense of belonging, which positively impacts service quality and overall operational stability.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The program was implemented through structured milestone tracking and planned recognition events that include a hosted meal, formal award presentation, personalized gifts, and leadership participation. Select milestones allow employees to invite family and friends. Member reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing pride in belonging to a club that values and celebrates long-term employee dedication.

Milestone Celebrations were created to intentionally honor employee longevity and service. At ANCC, we believe years of service represent dedication, growth, and lasting impact, and they deserve more than informal recognition. Employees are celebrated at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 years of service and beyond through a formal event that includes a hosted meal and award presentation. Each honoree receives a personalized gift, which may include a custom trophy, monetary recognition, and a framed photograph of the clubhouse. For select milestones, employees are invited to include family and friends, allowing the celebration to extend beyond the workplace.

Leadership plays a central role in the program. The General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and the employee’s direct manager personally present each award and publicly thank the honoree for their commitment and contributions. Professional photography captures the moment, creating lasting keepsakes and reinforcing a culture where loyalty and long-term service are valued.
