Millennial membership has increased our bottom line with an average of $18,000 per month in dues and over $100,000 in revenue in our wedding and event business. The average millennial membership is spending over $600 per month, supporting the club activities, increased our participation in all of our events. Every club in the industry should be offering this type of program to not only increase revenue but to teach social skills and responsibility of young men and women under the age of 30.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
The millennial membership idea was promoted on every social media platform and the word of mouth, referrals have created great energy and helped us develop a positive club culture. Membership has embraced it and reduced the average age from 68 to 58 in less than two years. Currently, we have a waiting list and it is the talk in the Lehigh Valley.
