Multi-Decade Celebrations

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The multi-decade celebrations helped to build teamwork within the department, as each event was coordinated by two members of the team. In addition, there was an increased level of bonding and respect between employees as different generations shared details of the pop culture and work environment during various decades.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Each employee in the department helped coordinate and plan one of the weekly celebrations with decorations, music, food, and pictures from the decade being showcased. Positive feedback was received by all who passed through the decorated area as everyone enjoyed learning about and reminiscing the time period, and most importantly, we were able to celebrate our long-tenured employee in a special way.
