Operation Deploy Your Dress

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Army Navy Country Club collected Formal Wear in support of Operation Deploy Your Dress’s 9th Annual Pop-Up at AUSA Headquarters in Arlington, where active-duty families from all branches can select free gowns, cocktails dresses, tuxedos, dress suits and formal accessories for proms, weddings, professional networking and other special occasions.  Our members are very supportive of those in need, making contributions to our food drives and other charitable events.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The project was spearheaded by Club’s Chairman’s Wife, Sherry Delaney, as a great way to support military families. Our members were extremely generous in answering the call to donate for this worthwhile cause. Over 1100 items donated (including ladies formal wear, men’s suits and tuxedos, accessories and shoes).
