Paint the Pool Party

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The Paint the Pool Party gave members a once in a lifetime opportunity to bid farewell to a pool that had served generations of ROCC families for 50+ years. As the Club embarks on it's 100 year anniversary in 2023, it is gatherings and memories just like this that make the Club, and its membership so special!

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We provided the rollers, brushes, and lots of paint, while members brought their excitement and creativity. Also featuring a full bar in the center of the pool, passed appetizers reminiscent of poolside favorites, a DJ positioned on the high dive, plus a drum kit complete with neon paint to really make a final splash! Members loved the idea and came dressed for a mess to say goodbye to a place that provided years of memories - - and really to kick off the new "East End" space that will be unveiled in 2022, just before the 100 year anniversary year begins!
