Party Perfect! Event Planning Camp
How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
This two-day Youth Event Planning Camp offers a hands-on, creative introduction to party design and event planning. Utilizing the talent and creativity of our Catering Team, this special program provides a unique opportunity for our young members to connect with the Club and get excited about planning their own special event!
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
On Day One, girls explore themed party vignettes designed by the Catering & Events team—ranging from a beach picnic to a Halloween celebration—before selecting a theme and building their own vision boards. Interactive sessions guide them through guest lists, invitations, table design, menus, mocktails, attire, and take-away gifts, with lunch served within the themed settings to bring concepts to life.
Day Two invites participants to dress in Mad Hatter–inspired attire and complete their vision boards while enjoying baking with the chef, a glitter bar, and a flower market where they create their own centerpieces.
The experience culminates in a whimsical Mad Hatter Tea Party with music, games, mocktails, and lunch, followed by a showcase moment when mothers arrive to celebrate their daughters’ creativity and take home their finished vision boards, floral arrangements, and party favors.
The girls that participated had an amazing time! Many moms even expressed their interest in an event like this for them! This special two-day event will remain on the Club Calendar for years to come.
