How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

These intentional promotions and events overcame the obstacle of decreased foot traffic from record-breaking rain levels by not just maintaining shop sales but producing the highest shop sales in the club’s history. ANCC Golf Shop saw a 3.27% gross sales growth and an increase of 13.4% sales revenue per round.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Our success in 2018 resulted from an intentional four-pronged approach from our golf staff including golf shop merchandising, multiple trunk shows, the largest Demo Day in the Middle Atlantic Section of the PGA and a brand-new social media campaign. Club member satisfaction was shown through numerous positive reactions including, “I did not even know I needed some of these gifts until I saw the ads!” when we highlighted professional staff as models in our social media and “I look forward to coming in the shop to see the new displays.”
