How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?
When Greensboro Country Club recently approached the membership to vote on a $14.3 million renovation plan, we knew we needed to fully explain the reasoning behind the plan and expense, as well as present member viewpoints to the entire membership. We felt that the best way to convey the member-to-member message would be through a discussion and testimonial video.
How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?
This video was made in-house by the Club’s marketing team and featured members of the Board and Master Planning Committee speaking about topics such as:
The importance of Membership, Board and Committee input in formulation of renovation plan
What Challenges We Face: Maintaining and Surpassing Trends in the industry and competition the area;
Attracting New Members; Maintaining Excellent Service in All Outlets

The Membership felt the video was well done and very informative. Our President received this note from one of our members:

The renovation plan passed by an overwhelming majority of the membership.
