Safety on the Streets Bike Rodeo

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

With safety for members being a top priority for Farmington, the Youth Programming team decided to host a Bike Rodeo to help its
youngest members learn about the importance of bike safety. The Youth Team collaborated with the Albemarle County Police Department to give children an interactive lesson in street and bicycle safety--an event that nicely coincided with the beginning of summer.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The Bike Rodeo was enjoyed by children of varied ages and skill levels. Important lessons were learned and the children had a wonderful time interacting with the police officers.
