Adding QR codes to WiFi signage was a simple fix for tricky WiFi passwords and solved a common point of friction for members and staff. Rather than repeatedly typing long, complex passwords, users can now connect instantly by scanning a QR code. This small but effective update saved time, reduced frustration, and improved the overall ease of accessing Club WiFi.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We generated secure QR codes linked to the WiFi network and added them to our existing WiFi password cards and signage throughout campus. Members and staff quickly embraced the “scan and connect” option, appreciating how fast and convenient it is. Feedback has been very positive, and the solution has streamlined connectivity while reducing questions and complaints related to the tricky passwords needed for security.
