How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

“SWITCH” is a concept where the kitchen and front of house staffs switch places! What a concept, right? It allowed both teams to gain appreciation for their respective roles.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The FOH got to choose the menu, then prep and cook. The kitchen staff played it up as Maitre’D and Clubhouse Manager for the two nights of SWITCH. Members made reservations as normal, but as a “theme weekend” they were told it was “American cuisine with a secret twist”. Our GM paid homage to his favorite team and created NY Style Cheesecake, while our CM made his famous Seafood Lasagna. (they both have a culinary background and were excited for this weekend). When members arrived, our sous chef seated them, and later our GM came out to ask them how their meal was, while wearing his chef jacket. Our Catering and Clubhouse Managers also participated and the members ate it up!
