Idea Fair

The Great Turkey Hunt

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

The Great Turkey Hunt was a fun, seasonal employee engagement initiative designed to boost morale and teamwork during the Thanksgiving season. Beginning Tuesday 11/11, employees were invited to search for hidden Turkey stickers placed throughout the club property. Once an employee found a sticker, they were instructed to turn it in to Jennifer, with the rule that only one sticker could be found per employee. As an incentive, employees who participated earned a Turkey kit reward, available for pick-up on Wednesday, November 26th.

This idea enhanced club operations by improving staff engagement and strengthening workplace culture. Because the hunt encouraged employees to explore the club property, it created a shared, upbeat experience across departments and helped promote interaction between employees who may not normally work together. The one-sticker-per-employee rule ensured fairness and kept participation broad. Overall, the Great Turkey Hunt supported a positive staff environment, increased seasonal excitement, and reinforced employee appreciation, helping staff feel valued while encouraging a more connected and energized workplace.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The Great Turkey Hunt was implemented by hiding Turkey sticker “clues” throughout the club property starting Tuesday 11/11. Employees were invited to search for one sticker each and turn it in to Jennifer, with winners receiving a Turkey kit reward available for pick-up on Wednesday, November 26th. While the activity was mainly employee-focused, members still enjoyed the festive energy it created and appreciated seeing staff engaged and motivated. The increased morale helped support a more positive atmosphere and carried into daily service.
