With a consistently full tee sheet, the news of closing our driving range was a devastating blow to our operation. Our golf operations team quickly turned this into a winning moment for our members - an opportunity to create a temporary six-hole, par three course aimed to accommodate families, couples, seniors, or any players who didn’t have the time to play a full round of golf. This added amenity allowed for more of our membership to enjoy the club while still providing a safe environment.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The golf operations team quickly identified the new course, it was immediately added to online communication, and successfully implemented in just a few days. This amenity became a member favorite fast! With tee times running in ten minute intervals, easy reservation system, and quick play times – it quickly became a member favorite.
