To Tell the Truth Wine Dinner

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Description of event: The event operates just like any other wine dinner, only with a twist; all the wines are served blind. The members and guest must determine what wine they are drinking after tasting the wine and listening to three descriptions.

We do about 10 wine dinners a year, between our two properties, and this event encourages member and guest participation and interaction. This event has enhanced the member experience by offering them another great social event.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

The idea was presented to us by one of our wine vendors and through are collective efforts we have turned this into a popular annual event. This event is well attended by our members and they talk about it for weeks following the event.
