Idea Fair

Weekly Themed Dinners

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

How do you appeal to the palates of a large and diverse membership, while at the same time keeping offerings fresh and exciting? At Fiddler’s, it begins with menus full of club favorites to appeal to those just looking for something tasty and easy.

Specials are typically an opportunity to spice up the menu variety, but even those can be predictable week over week for our regulars. For those who like to be wowed each time they come to the club, we have eschewed a traditional rotating specials menu in favor of a specials menu with unifying themes. Whether it is Tapas, Asian or Southwestern fare, themed specials menus (rotated every other week) enable our culinary team to exercise their creativity while providing new and exciting tastes. Now, our regular foodies come to the club enthused by the new creations and excited to try the Chef’s take on an ever-changing variety of cuisine.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

We've implemented this idea by creating table tents for the Grill Room and sending out an e-mail blast every Tuesday. One side of the table tent has the weekly themed specials, while the back of the table tent has upcoming member events. The members love the Grill Room and it's fast-casual menu, most items are clubs favorites that many clubs offer; to keep the dining experience unique, the themed menu has provided members new and exciting dishes from all over the world.
