Whiskey and Wild Game Dinner

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Holding our 3rd Whiskey and Wild Game Dinner at Arrowhead was a unique under-taking that got everyone involved to offer a special experience for our members. Food & Beverage worked along with our Chef and Pastry Chef to develop the pairings--5 whiskeys with the 5 courses. This event is now one of the highlights during a slower shoulder season in the fall.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

Other club departments were involved re-arranging and decorating our dining room with pheasant feathers, deer sheds and even borrowing the General Manager's stuffed bear Pooh. This event sold out and those who attended said it was one of the BEST themed dinners they had ever been too! This has become an annual event moving forward for our Club scheduled conveniently around hunting season and out of town guests.
