Worlds Tallest Trophy

How has this idea enhanced your club's operation, etc.?

Our Kraken Cup Field Day is one of the youth programs largest events. In order to enhance the event we decided to build the worlds tallest trophy to be awarded to the winning team. The idea brought a lot of buzz and excitement to the club and to the kids for the competition.

How was this idea implemented, and what have been the club members' reactions?

he idea came about when a discussion occurred over the worlds tallest trophy. Our team set out to break the record. With PVC pipe, spray paint, and a scissors lift (and a few trips to Home Depot) the staff built the trophy the morning of the event. A scissor lift was brought onto the pool deck to help with the construction. The kids and members absolutely loved it and we had a lot of people driving by to see what was going on. You could see the trophy from miles away! We submitted the trophy to Guinness and it is currently in the review process! We plan on attempting to break more world records in the near future.
