Frequently Asked Questions

Downloading the app is simple, and a necessity for your Conference experience. Access the entire education schedule, manage your schedule, browse the Club Business Expo, connect with fellow attendees, receive real-time alerts and schedule changes, and access the session evaluations to qualify for Education Credits.

The World Conference event app requires Android 10 and higher or iOS 14 and higher. Kindle Fire and other devices that use the Amazon App Store are not supported, but if you have another device that fits these requirements, you might consider that alternative.

When prompted, use Event ID: CMAABET24 when accessing the App for the first time.  

Are you ready to plan your experience? Make sure to log in to see all features. 

  • All Education and the Opening and Closing Business Sessions will be Business Casual (no jackets required).
  • The CMAA Before Dark and Networking Event will be resort casual. Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt for Before Dark and pack your favorite football (or sports) jersey for the Networking Event.

Club Management Institute (CMI) credits are awarded via verified attendance. At the end of each session, your presenter will share a keyword. Make note of this keyword.

To earn the most credits at Conference, follow these three steps:

  1. Register for a Full Member Registration. This registration category earns 12 Association Activity Credits, the most of any category.
  2. Attend all scheduled general and concurrent sessions of education and earn up to 21.5 Club Management Institute (CMI) Education Credits. Attendees can only receive Education Credits for one session during each concurrent time slot.
  3. Complete your session evaluation survey correctly on the event App following each Education Session you attend.

CMAA is going paperless when it comes to event tickets: 

  • For individuals who have purchased tickets for CMAA Before Dark (Tuesday, March 5) or the Member & Chapter Awards Breakfast (Wednesday, March 6), the QR code on your badge will be scanned at the door for entry. Please allow extra time for entry. 
  • For the Networking Event at Allegiant Stadium (Thursday, March 7), all ticket purchasers, including guests, will need to visit the CMAA Registration desk on Thursday, March 7 between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to have their badge scanned and secure their official event credential for entry.

  • In advance, listen to the January and February editions of the Let’s Talk Club Management podcast for insider tips.
  • On site, plan to arrive in time to attend the First Timers “Newbee” Gathering on Monday, March 4, at 10:00 a.m. where you will network with other first-timers and hear directly from CMAA’s Board and Conference team.

The Future Club Leaders of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), in concert with the Greater Southwest Chapter, created a Dining Guide, full of great local food and entertainment recommendations.

  • All advance communications including confirmations and reminders will be distributed via email. Make sure the address cmaa.org is on your email safe senders list. If you have not been receiving current announcements from CMAA or if you have opted out of any emails in the past, please contact CMAA to make sure your information is current.
  • Communications, including on-site schedule changes, will be communicated via the Conference Events App. Make your in-App notifications are turned on for the latest breaking news and schedule changes.
  • Daily news will be distributed each morning at 6:00 a.m. PT via email through the Conference Daily.

The Education Department relies on the kindness of volunteers to introduce individual concurrent session speakers. Please consider introducing one or more sessions.

  • Next, look for the sessions that you are planning to attend.
  • If you see a session that you would like to introduce, sign up!
  • You will be sent a confirmation email with the session date, time, and room location listed.
  • Once on site, stop by the Member Services Pavilion about 15 minutes prior to the session and a member of the Education Department team will give you the introduction text.
  • Each introduction takes about three minutes.
