The key to using the available data is to build thermostats so that your staff can change the temperature at the right time, instead of weather reports that are a month old. In this session Chris Tessone will share how Congressional Country Club built a culture where data influences everyday decisions to improve the member experience. Trevor Kluke will share how membership marketers can use KPIs to influence their communication strategy to attract and retain members. Chris Tessone, Chief Business Officer, Congressional Country Club Chris Tessone is the Chief Business Officer of Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. His passion for data analytics comes from consulting for Fortune 500 clients in Europe, Asia, and throughout the United States, where he led transformation projects in the hospitality and life science industries. He holds an MBA in decision sciences and finance from Duke University and has more than 20 years of experience in finance, operations, and technology roles in the hospitality and non-profit sectors. Chris loves places that matter to people and counts himself fortunate to work in the club industry. Away from Congressional (and during Congressional’s Turkey Trot), he is an avid 5K through marathon runner. Trevor Kluke, Marketing Manager, Jonas Club Software Trevor Kluke is the Marketing Manager at Jonas Club Software and has been with the company since 2016. Prior to joining the marketing team, he was a website consultant, advising clubs on how they could enhance their club websites and digital technology to increase member engagement. His 14-year career has been focused on digital design and production, working in television, sports organizations, and software. Trevor has experience in the private club industry as both a member and employee.
