Frequently Asked Questions

Downloading the app is simple, and a necessity for your Conference experience. Access the entire education schedule, manage your schedule, browse the Club Business Expo, connect with fellow attendees, and receive real-time alerts and schedule changes.

The official App launched on February 6 and all registered attendees were sent a personalized invitation to download.

The app is the "Cvent Events" app and the event name/ID is CMAA ORL23

Please Note:

  • When logging into the App, you must use the same email as your registration.
  • The World Conference event app requires Android 10 and higher or iOS 14 and higher. Kindle Fire and other devices that use the Amazon App Store are not supported, but if you have another device that fits these requirements, you might consider that alternative.

  • All Education and the Opening and Closing Business Sessions will be Business Casual (no jackets required).
  • The Networking Event will be resort casual. The event will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces so dress for your comfort.)

Walt Disney World

To purchase specially priced Walt Disney World® Meeting/Convention Theme Park tickets, please call 407-566-5600 or visit https://www.mydisneygroup.com/cma2023. Tickets are valid seven days before, during, and seven days after your meeting dates. Please note the cut-off date for advance purchase savings is February 23, 2023. To enter a park, both a park reservation and valid ticket on the same day are required. To make park reservations, you will need to sign into an existing Disney® Account or create a new one and link each ticket. Park reservations are subject to availability; please check the Park Availability Calendar. For details on making a park reservation, please visit Disney Park Pass Experience Updates. If you have not visited the Walt Disney World® Resort in a while, we recommend reviewing the Experience Updates.

Club Management Institute (CMI) credits are awarded via verified attendance. At the end of each session, your presenter will share a keyword. Make note of this keyword.

To earn the most credits at Conference, follow these three steps:

  1. Register for a Full Member Registration. This registration category earns 12 Association Activity Credits, the most of any category.
  2. Attend all scheduled sessions of education and earn up to 21.5 Club Management Institute (CMI) Education Credits.
  3. Complete your session evaluation survey correctly on the event App.

CMAA will offer limited shuttle service between the Celebration Hotel, Delta Hotel, and the Gaylord Palms Resort on the following schedule.

For attendees staying at the Celebration and Delta Hotels, look for signage at your hotel for the pickup location.

All shuttles will arrive at and depart from the Bus Loop, Level 1, at the Gaylord Palms Resorts.

  • In advance, listen to the January and February editions of the Let’s Talk Club Management podcast for insider tips.
  • On site, plan to arrive in time to attend the First Timers “Newbee” Gathering on Friday, February 24, at 10:00 a.m. where you will network with other first-timers and hear directly from CMAA’s Board and Conference team.

  • All advance communications including confirmations and reminders will be distributed via email. Make sure the address cmaa.org is on your email safe senders list. If you have not been receiving current announcements from CMAA or if you have opted out of any emails in the past, please contact CMAA to make sure your information is current.
  • Communications, including on-site schedule changes, will be communicated via the Conference Events App. Make your in-App notifications are turned on for the latest breaking news and schedule changes.
  • Daily news will be distributed each morning at 6:00 a.m. ET via email through the Conference Daily.

  • Speaker Introduction: The Education Department relies on the kindness of volunteers to introduce the session speakers. Please consider introducing one or more sessions. The process is simple. First, visit the Volunteer Page and look for the sessions that you are planning to attend. If you see a session that you would like to introduce, sign up! You will be sent a confirmation email with the session date, time, and room location listed. Once on site, stop by the Member Services Pavilion about 15 minutes prior to the session and a member of the Education Department team will give you the introduction text. Each introduction takes about three minutes. Please feel free to contact Amilcar Davy if you have any questions.
