CMAA National Dues Rates

CMAA memberships are dual and simultaneous, meaning you must maintain both National and Chapter dues to keep your membership active (except for Retired and Student member classifications). If you're unsure of your Chapter's rates, please contact your local Chapter. For any questions, reach out to CMAA's Membership Department.

NOTE: 96 percent of all clubs pay their managers’ annual dues for CMAA membership.

If you are currently unemployed and seeking a new club management opportunity, you qualify for Continuation status. To learn more, please contact the Membership Department.

*Please note: Associate membership is available only to Professional members who have left the club management profession entirely or who are no longer eligible for Continuation status and remain unemployed.

New & Rejoining Member Rates

Effective September 1, 2025:

Professional Members: 1st year $525
Professional Members: 2nd year $675
Professional Members: 3rd year Full Prevailing Rate

This dues benefit applies exclusively to new and rejoining members. Reinstating members are not eligible for these rates. A reinstatement occurs when a dropped member pays their outstanding dues within the same membership year. If a full membership year has passed, former members must rejoin CMAA.

Alumnus Members: 1st year $450
Alumnus Members: 2nd year Half of Prevailing Professional Rate

Professional and Alumnus Members joining CMAA between April 1 and August 31 will pay half of the first-year dues rate (Professional-$262.50; Alumnus-$225), and their membership will be valid through October 31 of the same year.

To remain active with CMAA, current (or former) Student members who have graduated and now hold a management position at a club need to apply for Alumnus membership. Alumnus members have the same access and benefits as Professional members but receive an additional benefit of discounted National dues for their first two years. In the third year, they will be automatically transferred to the Professional member type and billed the prevailing rate on their National renewal invoice. For more information, please contact the Membership Department.
