Increase Your Knowledge with the CMAA Accounting and Financial Management Certificate
One of the areas that club professionals struggle with most is understanding club finance. To lead a private club, you don’t need to understand debits and credits, but you do need to understand KPIs, budgeting, and forecasting to answer those questions confidentially when asked by a board or club member. On CMAA University, we offer the Accounting and Financial Management Certificate designed to increase your financial knowledge and you will earn 21.5 CMI credits. This 18-part course is available through CMAA University.

New Class of Certified Chief Executives Recognized
CMAA congratulates the latest class of club management professionals to attain the designation of Certified Chief Executive (CCE). The CCE designation was developed to recognize those managers who have shown the ability to successfully serve as the most senior manager in a club and to augment the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation, seen as the “hallmark of professionalism” in the club industry.
Once club management professionals achieve their CCM designation, they must complete an additional 400 hours of professional development and qualify for the CMAA Honor Society, successfully complete Business Management Institutes Tactical and Strategic Leadership, and serve as the top executive in a club for a minimum of five years. Further, individuals must mentor an entry or mid-level manager through the Manager in Development (MID) program or other one-year commitment.

Submit Your Student Chapter Officer Form
If you’re part of your school’s CMAA Student Chapter leadership, submitting the Student Chapter Officer Form isn’t just a formality, it’s a key part of keeping your Chapter active, informed, and supported.
This form ensures that CMAA National Headquarters knows who your officers are, so they can share important updates, event invites, and leadership opportunities. Without it, your Chapter may miss out on valuable communications and risk losing active status.
It also supports smooth leadership transitions by providing CMAA with up-to-date contacts year after year. That means incoming officers don’t have to start from scratch, and your Chapter keeps building momentum.
