Career Opportunities Map

Description

The Career Opportunities Map was created as a tool to help students easily find private clubs by geographic location. The clubs pinned on the map are ones our chapter has connections to, has visited at conferences, where alumni currently work, etc. The map has helped introduce new chapter members to the wide scope of the industry.

Implementation

The idea was implemented by posting it on the school’s main student webpage as a career resource. Our chapter also promotes it with both chapter members and non-members at as many school organization events as possible. Chapter members’ reactions have been excellent, with many using the tool to search for internships and post-graduation jobs based on the locations where they want to work or live.
