This idea offers more career fairs through CMAA throughout the year, both on campuses and in partnership with local clubs and hospitality organizations across the country. More frequent hospitality career fairs create stronger connections, increase awareness of these careers, and build a consistent pipeline of motivated talent for the industry.

Implementation

Kent State University’s hospitality program hosts an annual career fair that successfully connects students with industry professionals within different sectors of hospitality, as well as help students get interested in possible internships or future careers. Hospitality organizations will benefit from a stronger talent pool and increased visibility. Ultimately, this idea helps build a more prepared, engaged, and sustainable workforce for the hospitality industry moving forward.
