Reward System for Participation & Engagement

Description

We implemented the idea of having prizes/rewards at every meeting as an incentive for them to attend, participate and engage meaningfully with us. This has helped boost attendance and has increased participation from our members.

Implementation

Our social events chair plans an activity for each meeting and alongside it, prizes. We figured that if our members had something to look forward to each meeting it would have to be something valuable to them. Before each meeting we buy gift cards to popular food places, or we get FSU/Dedman Merch, or sometimes even a Celcius pack will get them excited. Our members seem to really like this idea because it fosters an exciting atmosphere rather than just information overload all the time. They love knowing that there are rewards that make our time together energetic and fun!
