Spotlight Series

Description

This idea has sparked ambition in our members and has prompted them to ask for more leadership opportunities. As students get highlighted, it encourages their peers to pursue unique opportunities too!

Implementation

Our social media chair and alumni/industry liaison worked closely to create a template to highlight our star students and connected with alumni to get an advice column from them! They created a weekly calendar where every Friday they post our spotlight as a story to our Instagram. Our members like this idea because it makes them feel special with the shoutouts of their accomplishments but also, they like knowing the alumni because it allows them to expand their network and connect with them.
