Student Internship Panel

Description

Students who had interned at a private club during the most recent summer break were asked to participate in a student panel. They were asked to describe their learning experiences and the benefits of an internship through CMAA or a private club to fellow students. Student Chapter members were able to learn the process and importance of internships, and why private clubs offer students an amazing opportunity

Implementation

We had four students sit in and describe their internships in front of 12 students who had signed up. During the panel, we showed students how to identify and pursue internships, providing them with the necessary tools to succeed. We have been able to help many students who reach out find internship locations. Since our first panel, we plan to continue the tradition of this event in hopes to inspire students to intern at private clubs. We also hope to network with club managers to find internships for our entire student chapter, allowing our students to do their best.
