General Manager

Brief Job Description

The General Manager of The Toledo Club oversees all activities of the Club relating to its Board of Directors, members, guests, and employees.  Through careful oversight of the P&L and management in accordance with the Club's policies and procedures, the GM leads and manages the staff to operate the club with the utmost professionalism and an unmatched commtment to family, quality and service, thus ensuring maximum member and guess participation and satisfaction. 

In addition to coordinating and supervising all of the management and administrative functions of the Club, the General Manager will oversee the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets, supporting the strategic and tactical initiatives and expectations that s/he has established with the Board of Directors.  In conjunction with the Food and Beverage Manager, the General Manager will be the primary coordinator of food and beverage hiring, training, orientation, and teammate indoctrination and employee supervision.  

The General Manager takes personal ownership of operations, being especially aware of the physical plant and overall presentation of the operation and the need to be consistently member-ready in both appearance and service.

Previous club management or related experience preferred

Educational Requirements

Preferrably college graduate with Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation
