Catering and Events Manager
Brief Job Description
The Catering and Events Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Catering and Member Events for a very busy Food and Beverage Operation. In the Inaugural year of employment, F&B and Dining Room Management will be required given the current COVID/State Mandates restricting large gatherings. This will assist the right candidate in getting acclimated with membership and operations. In the subsequent year, and in a typical year, this role will revert back to 70% Catering and Events Management, with 30% supplementing oversight of large private parties or member functions.
Candidate Qualifications
A minimum of two to four years’ experience in Catering in Private Clubs; other Hospitality Industry experience considered with high-volume background preferred. An extreme attention to detail and organization is required, along with highly-effective verbal, presentation, and written skills. A thorough understanding of banquet operations, member relations, and functionality of private clubs highly desired.
Educational Requirements
A four-year college degree in hospitality or equivalent preferred but not required.
