Brief Job Description

Chef de Cuisine - Responsible for the implementation and execution of menus and standard operating procedures relating to all back of house initiatives including but not limited to research and development, menu planning and training of stall in all areas of the culinary field. Is the point of contact and MOD when Exec Chef and Exec Sous are not available.

Hands on supervision of preparation for restaurants PM service periods focusing on safety, quality, consistency, food safety, organization and timely service of all orders & parties

Candidate Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

Must hold a A.O.S. degree in culinary arts, B.P.S preferred
Minimum of five (5) years hospitality culinary experience
Minimum of one (3) year successful supervisory experience
Must be able to provide continous training to a diverse team
Must possess an understanding of private club style and F&B service with an emphasis on knowing member’s preferences
Must possess strong knowledge of classic cooking techniques and American Cuisine
Must be dedicated to the position, the Club and the industry
Excellent inter-personnel skills required with a positive professional demeanor
Demonstrated leadership and team buildings skills
Must be service orientated and possess great attention to detail and have strong desire to succeed
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English

Educational Requirements

2 year Culinary degree from an accreitted program.
