Joseph Krenn, CCM, CCE
Joseph Krenn, CCM (Certified Club Manager), CCE (Certified Chief Executive), Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of Farmington Country Club, in Charlottesville, VA, was elected to the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) Board of Directors at its 2020 World Conference, held in Grapevine, TX. He was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for a three-year term.
Krenn has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of Farmington Country Club since 2012. Prior to that appointment, he served at the Town Club, Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, GA, at the Ansley Golf Club in Atlanta, GA, and the Carnegie Abbey Club in Portsmouth, RI.
Krenn first joined CMAA in 1998. He earned his CCM designation in 2006 and achieved his CCE designation in 2017. He has served on national committees including the Certification, Chapter/Member Services, Career Services, Communications, Elections, Membership, Nominating, Research, and Strategic Planning Committees. In 2022, he will continue to serve as the chairman of the Membership Committee.
On the chapter level, Krenn has been active in the Georgia, New England, and Virginias Chapters. Within his local community, he is an active leader with the Salvation Army and the Blue Ridge Mountain Rotary Club.
As a CMAA Board member, Krenn will work with members, allied associations, and partners to further the profession of club management.
