Dawn Coleman

Dawn Coleman joined the CMAA National Headquarters team in 2023. In her role as the Vice President, Learning and Career Development, she will provide oversight and direction of the education and career development programs in accordance with CMAA’s mission to advance the profession of club management through fulfilling the educational needs of the membership by providing state of the art educational programs, information, and resources.

Prior to joining the CMAA team, Coleman was the General Manager/COO at Stillwater Country Club (SCC) in Stillwater, OK. When she graduated from University of Texas at Dallas with a BS in Business Management/Accounting, she had no idea her career path would take her into club management. She joined SCC as their CFO, was promoted to AGM/CFO within two years, and finally become the first female GM/COO in the Club’s 56-year history. Additionally, she served as Chapter Executive of the Oklahoma Chapter of GCSAA for 11 years.

Originally from Ellicott City, MD, Dawn is glad to be back “home.” When she is away from work, she can be found spending time with her family.
