New Member Calls

Entry Details

Every new Carolinas Chapter member is invited to a monthly welcome call hosted by our Member Services Manager and Membership Chair.
The informal conversation introduces new members to the Chapter, highlights resources and upcoming opportunities, and provides a comfortable space to ask questions and learn how to get involved. The group format also allows new members to meet others who are joining at the same time - building connections from day one.

This has enhanced the chapter by:
- Creating immediate personal connections
- Introduc Cinghapter resources & opportunities to new members
- Connecting new members with one another
- Providing direct access to Chapter leadership
- Helping new members know what they can expect
- Giving leadership the opportunity to encourage immediate engagement and participation

Implementation

Each month, our Member Services Manager and Membership Chair select a date and invite all members who joined during the previous month to a casual virtual welcome call.

New members know to expect the invitation because the calls are introduced in their initial welcome email, and upcoming dates and meeting links are always accessible through the New Member Welcome Center on our website.
